Full time, twelve-month faculty member who will serve as Program Head/Director for the Funeral Service Programs. The successful candidate will teach funeral service courses in an online, and/or hybrid format; provide leadership and administrative oversight of the program to include: hiring and evaluating part-time faculty, creating course schedules, leading the assessment of student learning outcomes and program goals, ensuring compliance with the accreditation standards, managing the Funeral Service Advisory Committee, providing student advising, and participation in all college activities and assigned committees. Responsible for ensuring that the programs meet the guidelines of the American Board of Funeral Service Educators (ABFSE) as well as the Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers. Representing John Tylerâs Funeral Service program to the community and maintaining strong and positive relationships with external agencies. Prepare faculty and students for the future of Funeral Services. This position reports to the Dean of Science, Health and Human Services and is located on the Chester campus.
