Responsible for performing business analysis and technical duties in support of the library systems, applications and digital services. The incumbent will collaborate across Library and Technology Services to advance library services through requirements gathering, prototyping and application development. 1. Perform business analysis and development for library management systems and applications *In collaboration with Library and Library and Technology Services (LTS) colleagues, identify gaps and pain-points related to library services and systems and translate needs into project requirements *Develop prototypes, tools and applications that strengthen the library’s digital applications, systems and infrastructure *Develop solutions to integrate library web services including discovery, metadata harvesting and data management *Document and implement workflow requirements to support the use of FOLIO, Project ReShare, VuFind and EDS Discovery interfaces, ArchivesSpace and Islandora digital Repository in acquiring, cataloging, managing, preserving and delivering of library collections and services to faculty, staff and students *Develop tools and workflows for library data analytics and reporting
2. Manage, maintain and provide enhancements to library systems and applications to ensure effective and efficient delivery of library digital resources and services *Serve as a technical contact and work with vendors and open source library communities to support troubleshooting FOLIO and other library applications *Support third-party systems for access of library resources *Maintain and upgrade existing systems, identify and recommend enhancements to improve library’s workflows and services *Provide support, consultation and training to librarians, faculty and students regarding digital tools to enhance access to the Libraries’ collections and services
3. Manage and support Drupal content management system for library website, digital collections and Lehigh Preserve *Partners with the LTS Web and Mobile teams on integration of consistent LTS themes and web design elements *Manage access and permissions for Library staff to create and update web content *Write code and scripts to integrate modules, content or external applications with library Drupal web interface *Manage library digital repository, provide technical support for preservation and curation workflows *Coordinate and lead usability studies to inform graphic design and layout of library websites and other web applications

Bachelor's Degree in Library, Information, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three to five years related work experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Solid analytical and problem solving skills, ability to work independently
Excellent computer skills with experience with system/programming techniques, specifically in Linux, Drupal, PHP, and MySQL, as well as word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. Additional experience with Java, Oracle, CONTENTdm, SFX preferred but not required
Ability to create complex documents, spreadsheet analysis, and advanced graphics
Ability to create and manipulate databases
Ability to program at an intermediate level
Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position
