UW Medical Center – Montlake has an exciting opportunity for a per diem (0% FTE, variable hours per week), day shift REGISTERED NURSE to join our Women's Health Care Center (WHCC), located at our Roosevelt Clinic. This position is specifically for the Gynecology Care Team, supporting several clinic providers specializing in obstetrics.
SCHEDULE: The Registered Nurse will work variable hours per week, Monday - Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Registered Nurse will work closely with pre- and post-natal patients to provide consultative care. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for answering patient calls and eCare messages, following up on medical records and test results, managing prescriptions and referrals, and providing nursing advice in person, via phone and via telehealth. The Registered Nurse will play an active role on our obstetrics phone line and will handle phone triage on a daily basis.
2 years of current or recent experience in women's health nursing or OB/GYN nursing
An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington
Active Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification (C-EFM)
3+ years of obstetrical care experience, including telephone triage and care of pre- and post-natal patients
