Gannon University, a Catholic university, invites applications for an Assistant Director of Campus Engagement & Activities.  This position animates the University’s primary aim of “transforming lives and inspiring transformation” through high-impact retention initiatives, small group engagement, and collaborative leadership development experiences on- and off-campus.  This position will enhance the student experience by developing, implementing, supervising, and evaluating comprehensive programs founded in student development theory, principles, and best practices.  This includes research, program development, decision-making, recruitment, advising, fundraising, grant writing, contract negotiations, and budget management.  Must be able to support and promote the University’s Mission.

Requirements include a master’s degree; two years of relevant experience working with university/college activities and events, student leadership training, and/or working with student groups; demonstrated ability to design and execute large-scale events and activities as experiences; demonstrated ability to develop curriculum and facilitate developmental trainings; excellent communication and relationship-building skills with diverse constituents.  Experience with budgeting and assessment as well as a current valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.  Must have a U.S. passport and/or any other documentation required for international travel.
