Responsible to the Resident Coordinator and Program Director, the Resident Info Tech assists the Resident Coordinator with the daily function of the resident program and supports the faculty with administrative tasks including, but not limited to:
Maintains critical and sensitive information in the online New Innovations software program.
Answers incoming phone calls, provides information, takes messages, screens requests on behalf of supervisor, or refers call to appropriate person
Greets and assists medical students on initial day and while in the clinic
Manages Procard purchases out of Program and Recruitment budgets
Prepares monthly mileage claim report for Program Director
Compiles and processes Resident reimbursement requests
Creates office schedules for faculty
Enters and maintains the Resident master schedule
Assists with OB/Peds/FMS call schedules and performs weekly schedule check, ensuring faculty call/hospital rounds schedules are completed
Assists in recruitment activities
Assists the Program Director with Physician Verification
Assists Coordinator with incoming Resident Orientation planning and scheduling
Assists Coordinator with PGY2 Resident Skills Month planning and scheduling
Oversees Resident and Faculty pagers
Runs errands and sets up for events on behalf of the Residency Program
Performs other related duties as assigned
