The Assistant Professor will: a) engage in scholarship that advances the Department's portfolio of health research and is expected to seek extramural research funding; b) teach in our BS in Health Systems Management, Master in Health Administration, and/or PhD in Health Services Research program(s); c) contribute professional service to the institution, community, and discipline; and (d) support the Department's mission and vision. Minimum Experience / Education:
UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Eligible candidates must have a doctoral degree in health administration, health care management, health services research, or a related field by August 2021. Candidates are expected to present evidence of promise for contributing to the Department's research portfolio, obtaining external research funding, and teaching. The extent to which the candidate can contribute the vision and mission of the department will be considered. Candidates with expertise in health policy, health systems and organization, and/or quality improvement in health care settings are particularly encouraged to apply.
