The Student Success Analyst interprets data and turns it into information to improve CCM student success, student experiences, a critical business process, and/or a practice of the college all aimed at achieving our mission. The Student Success Analyst gathers data and information from various sources and interpret patterns and trends using software and knowledge in a rigorous analytical process. The Student Success Analyst will feed-forward their analysis and follow-up to determine if the intended outcomes were met (closing the loop).
Familiarity with statistical software, predictive analytics, writing and presenting summary reports, visualization tools, and ability to think critically and produce patterns of student/client behaviors in oral and written formats. Critical thinker with ability to fit research into an integrated business model. Ability to work with others and independently.
Four-years working in an analytical capacity, preferably in Higher Education. Research-related experiences using databases and environmental scanning techniques.
A Master’s degree in the Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Behavioral Sciences, or related field requiring data use, research, and/or analytics.
