The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist position on the subject of tropical cyclone risk modeling, including the interactions between hazard, exposure and vulnerability. The position will support a new Columbia World Project and will be located at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory in Palisades, NY in the research group of Professors Adam Sobel, Suzana Camargo, and Chia-Ying Lee, and with Professor Michael Tippett in Columbia's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
