Responsibilities: The Advancement Data Integrity Manager ensures advancement data is maintained with the highest standards by maintaining ongoing demographic modifications from constituents and sources across campus and serving as a best practices' expert on data management and governance.
Maintain ongoing demographic modifications to constituent database per submissions from constituents and offices across campus;
Following industry best practices, work collaboratively across campus to improve data management by identifying new sources for constituent data, analyzing critical paths and streamlining data workflows, with an emphasis on automated or bulk data transfers through system integrations;
Design, implement, and promote advancement-wide guidelines for data integrity best practices. Act as a resource to data governance and security issues. Identify and implement clean-up processes of database to improve accuracy, reduce inconsistencies, and eliminate duplicate records. Work with reporting team to develop and maintain data integrity benchmarking reports and exception reports that bring attention to potential data issues;
Participate, as needed, in cross departmental special projects related to biographical data. Develop and execute strategies to optimize alumni contact information in coordination with the University Office of Alumni Relations;
Coordinate external industry benchmarking participation such as the CAE/VSE survey;
Assist with gift processing as needed.
Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience;
Excellent analytical, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills;
High level of attention to detail with the ability to consistently apply strong data standards;
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Access with the ability to learn new software;
Good understanding of data file formats and moving data in bulk;
Ability to maintain confidentiality with personal and sensitive data;
Ability to interact positively with constituents;
High level of initiative and ability to partner with others towards common goals.
Experience with donor databases;
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM Platform.
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
