The Patient Experience Representative - COVID-19 Vaccine and Testing Call Center will be responsible for:
Scheduling patient appointments for COVID vaccinations for families following established department guidelines. Collecting and verifying all demographic information.
Scheduling employee and patient COVID-19 tests according to Occupational Health Services and Hospital guidelines.
Providing daily phone support and scheduling assistance.
Performing a variety of administrative duties, entering incoming requests into the database, and relaying appointment information to appropriate parties.
Providing positive and effective customer service that supports departmental and hospital operations.
Answering, screening and routing telephone calls. Recording and forwarding messages and triaging calls for information or services.
Providing clerical and administrative support as needed.
Actively contributing to departmental and organizational initiatives & Projects with a focus on continuous process improvement.
Assisting in implementing changes in internal systems and procedures (as needed).
To qualify, you must have:
High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Previous customer service or administrative experience preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
Ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
This position is a 12 month, full time position to support the COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Clinic. After completion of COVID-19 Vaccine & Testing responsibilities, successful candidates may be reassigned to other hospital units.
Schedule: The Call Center is open from 7:00a-8:00p, with varying shifts between these hours.
Please note: During a public health emergency, individuals in this role may be expected to take on additional duties to respond to organizational needs.
