The Department of Surgery at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, is offering this academic appointment as Health Sciences Clinical Instructor in conjunction with a one-year fellowship program.
The Fellowship program is designed to provide extensive clinical training as well as opportunities for research and teaching in advanced minimally invasive/bariatric surgery.
FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM INCLUDES:
Leadership in Gastrointestinal Surgery
Clinical evaluation and management in patient care
Clinical and basic science research in minimally invasive bariatric surgery
Requirements: An M.D. or M.D./Ph.D., board certification or board eligibility in specialty, DEA license and California Medical License prior to start of fellowship. Strong interest and demonstrated abilities in delivering patient care in an academic clinical setting, teaching residents and medical students, and performing University and public service.
