Works with the publicity manager to develop and execute publicity book campaigns and is responsible for designated publicity and promotional activities of the University of Nebraska Press. This includes, but is not limited to, developing media lists and contacts, writes media materials, manages the review process, and assists with social media communications. Manages, updates, and develops databases and other publicity tools.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus one year of publicity or marketing experience; equivalency considered. Must have an understanding of book publishing, and have excellent communication, creative writing, and proofreading skills. Must be familiar with current social media trends. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects are essential.
One or more years of publicity experience within a university press or other book publisher preferred. Experience with media relations, book reviewers, and authors; experience in database management and familiarity with publicity databases; ability to produce relevant social media content desired.
Posted Salary: $13.50/hr minimum
