Reporting to the Managing Director of Student Experience, the Associate Director - Strategic Student Experience works as a close partner with the program directors to develop and support implementation of strategies and plans that proactively shape the student experience across all degree programs in an intentional, inclusive, inspirational way and consistent with the Kellogg purpose, vision, and brand. The Associate Director will take direction from the Managing Director to execute on strategies and plans that support the student experience including coordinating the DEI student experience strategy. This role will have responsibility to look across all programs and ensure the Kellogg brand comes through in a consistent manner. The Associate Director will support planning efforts in close partnership with the Managing Director and program directors on an annual basis and also around certain key student engagement issues over the course of the year. Although the Associate Director does not have primary responsibility for internal communications, he/she will partner closely with Communications to support the development and implementation of communication strategies with our students.

Strategic and operational planning
Partner with the Managing Director of Integrated Student Experience and program directors to develop strategies and plans that proactively shape the student experience.
Collaborate with program leaders to understand diversity, equity, and inclusion within their student populations.
Partner with IMC (communications) to support the development and implementation of communications strategies and tactics with our students.
Work in collaboration with Student Life teams, Managing Director, and Dean’s Office to support implementation of student experience plans.
Provide student experience expertise in cross-functional planning and execution of programs and policies for students in the various degree programs
Coordinate and oversee DEI Strategic Student Experience strategy across degree programs
Manage projects that span across student experience under leadership of the Managing Director
Research and recommend best-practices in the area of student engagement and experience.
Coordinate the collection, analysis and reporting of key performance indicators
Prepare reports synthesizing the data as needed
Assess the efficacy of strategic initiatives based upon key performance indicators and partner with Managing Director of Integrated Student Experience and program leaders to identify opportunities for continuous learning and improvement
Relationship and Partnership Management
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders including student leaders, faculty, and functional leaders
Integrated Student Experience Team
Collaborate and support colleagues within the broader integrated student experience team and peers in building a cohesive, inclusive and collaborative team environment including working with leadership team to facilitate team and community building
Represent the integrated student experience team within cross-functional teams and groups
Performs other duties as assigned.
An MBA degree or the equivalent combination of education, experience, and training from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
