Experience with Ellucian Colleague or other Enterprise Resource Management system highly desired. Experience with financial reporting tools compatible with Enterprise Resource Management systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Supervises the Accounting Office responsibilities for the annual university budget process 2) Maintains forecasting software to support management in strategic planning 3) Responsible for daily cash management including movement of funds to support operations and cash flow forecasting 4) Responsible for preparation and forecasting of annual operating results 5) Supervises Budget and Cash Management Department staff 6) Works with Financial Reporting team to provide budget to actual reporting and variance analysis 7) Responsible for OMB compliance related to fund draws and returns from G-5 8) Coordinates and supervises the recording of financial activities for all grants held by the university. Supervises the preparation of federal, state and private grant financial reporting. Works with the Office of Sponsored Programs to train and support grant managers. 9) Works with the International and Domestic Studies Offices to coordinate all program related financial activities. 10) Supervises the maintenance of security in Ellucian Colleague Financials for budget and account information access. 11) Reviews and coordinates IT report generation and system changes for accounting in Ellucian Colleague Financial system. 12) Provides internal control auditor and external financial auditors with requested information and prepares required schedules for the annual audit, including preparation of related footnotes for the annual financial report. 13) Maintains bank relationships and updates required bank information related to signature authority and account access as needed. 14) Collaborates with IT in developing new procedures and implementing mandated Ellucian changes.
Experience with presenting information in small group settings.
Ability to accurately analyze data and make interpretations, as well as detect and reconcile discrepancies in financial records.
