The Management Science Department at the University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business invites applications for an open rank clinical faculty position with an emphasis on business analytics. In addition to having the primary responsibility of teaching multiple analytics-oriented courses each year, it is anticipated that the successful candidate will also assume the secondary role of Managing Director for the new Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program. The new MSBA program is a STEM-designated 30-credit hour program to be completed in one year. Under the direction of the Faculty Director for the MSBA, the Managing Director will oversee MSBA day-to-day operations, help to develop strategies for successful marketing of the program, student recruitment and placement, and serve as a bridge between the academic program and industry.
This position is designed to offer opportunities for long-term employment with the university, with renewable contracts and opportunities for promotion in accordance with established policies for professional faculty.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
A Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related (analytics-oriented) field is required.
