Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Program Administrator for the Center for Innovation in Worker Organization (CIWO). This position is responsible for developing and implementing outreach, recruitment and organizing plans for national and local Bargaining for the Common Good Network(BCG) initiatives. The position works closely with the Education and Research Directors to develop campaign strategy and theory, to strengthen BCG training materials and resources, and to deepen BCG organizing in a few key cities and states.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Identifies unique requirements for each regional and subset of BCG; lead and manage all the logistics for common good campaigns ensuring goals and objectives are successfully met.
Identifies, fosters and convenes a group of interfaith and clergy leaders to map the landscape of faith organizations in the country; develop and support a Faith and Clergy BCG cohort.
Develops and implements outreach, recruitment and organizing plans for new partners in New Jersey, Tennessee, Washington, Minnesota and others as they emerge.
