The Division of Stroke and Neurocritical Care in the Department of Neurology at Robert Wood Johnson (RWJ) Medical School, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey has an opening for a full time stroke faculty to start on July 1, 2021. Vascular neurology board eligible or certified neurologists who have strong interests in clinical research and teaching are encouraged to apply as we expand our combined division of stroke and neurocritical care. We are the academic department providing medical education for the medical students, neurology residents and fellows for Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, a joint Commission certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and the primary teaching hospital for Rutgers RWJ Medical School. The Department of Neurology at Rutgers-RWJ Medical School is an academic department with more than 28 full time faculty, residency program of 13, and 5 nationally recognized centers of excellence.
Minimum Education and Experience:
To qualify, candidates must be graduates of an ACGME-accredited neurology; residency and vascular neurology fellowship; and be board certified.
