The following Additional Qualifications are strongly preferred. If you meet some, but not all, you are still encouraged to apply; we value employees with a willingness to learn.
Advanced degree or graduate certificate in law, research administration, or regulatory compliance may count toward experience
Juris Doctor preferred
University sponsored research experience, including familiarity with the FAR, is a plus
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong negotiation skills, tact, and diplomacy
Proven ability in collaborative problem-solving. Demonstrated comfort in working in fast-paced, multiple-deadline driven environment
Training experience is helpful, as well as an interest in mentoring others
Demonstrated ability to work individually or within a team and to think creatively and provide sound advice
High level of confidence and willingness to accept high level responsibilities is required
Computer skills and strong organizational skills
Should have broad academic interests and the ability to think critically about programmatic, financial, and policy issues
