The Senior Telecom Analyst is responsible for the operation, management, and support of telecommunication systems. This includes being on-call and ensuring the phone systems (including 911 access) are up and functional at all times. Current telecom related systems include CUCM, Unity Connection, UCCX, IMP, CER, handsets, analog lines, e-faxing, and telehealth technologies. The Senior Telecom Analyst must possess strong communication skills and ability to form relationships across all business units. Responsibilities include:
Researches and assists with the implementation of new technologies
Ensures the phone systems are operational & functional
Designs, implements, and maintains the organization's data and/or voice communications systems
Coordinating, reviewing, and performing repair services in emergency situations as needed
Analyzes business needs of the user and recommends solution to the hardware and/or software systems
Provides monitoring and data network analyses to support short- and long-range planning
Bachelor's or equivalent working experience
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
Valid Washington State Driver's License
Ability to troubleshoot, navigate and think through complex telecommunication and related systems, and integrations with other non-communication systems (Nurse Call, etc.)
Systems experience: Cisco Unified Communication Collaboration Systems (CUCM, Unity Connection, IM&P, CER, UCCX), eFaxing applications, Windows & Linux systems
Telecom Networking: familiar with Cisco Phones SIP/SCCP, PRI, FXS, SIP Trunking, and Cisco CUBE configuration
Setting: Experience in a healthcare / hospital environment desirable

At Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, teams of world-renowned scientists and humanitarians work together to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer, HIV/AIDS and other diseases. Researchers are discovering new ways to detect cancers earlier, improve treatments, and learn how to prevent cancers from growing. Although Fred Hutchinson opened its doors in 1975, its history began about 20 years before that. In 1962 Fred Hutchinson envisioned a center devoted to studying cancer, a disease that took his brother’s life. Today Fred Hutchinson is contributing to the next waves of breakthrough treatments and prevention strategies.
