Dr. Evan Glazer Lab is looking for anexceptional Postdoctoral Fellow to conduct studies on the use of targetedtherapeutics and immunotherapy in patient derived and mouse models ofpancreatic and liver cancer. Our work uses cell culture, syngeneticmodels, patient derived models to address hypotheses regarding the complexlinks between cancer cell death, immune tumor microenvironment, andresponse/resistant to therapy.
This Postdoctoral Fellow must think and workindependently to design and plan experiments, problem solve, and be technicallyskilled in typical molecular techniques, with essential expertise in mousemodels and cell culture. Patient derived organoids are an essential and uniquepart of our laboratory. Knowledge of flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry,mouse pre-clinical models and surgical survival models are expected. This PostdoctoralFellow is expected to apply for grants (NIH K, K99/R00, and F32, and otherpostdoctoral grants) with the mentoring support. Exceptional oral and writtenskills are required. Fellows must complete first and co-author manuscripts andpresent findings at local and national meetings.
