The Labovitz School of Business and Economics (LSBE) at the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, term faculty position in the area of Management at the Instructor/Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2021. The individual hired for this position will be responsible for teaching required and elective courses and service. The school’s current teaching need is in the area of Organizational Behavior and other related areas. Currently, the teaching load is 21 credits (typically 7 sections) per academic year. Responsibilities also include advising undergraduate students, and engaging in service activities with colleagues, the department, School, campus, community and professional organizations.
Applicants must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Management or Organizational Behavior or closely related areas, e.g., Organizational Psychology, or an equivalent program from an accredited institution with substantive coursework in micro-organizational issues, or be ABD (with a minimum of two years of residency as a full-time doctoral student) in Organizational Behavior/Psychology or Management (with substantive coursework in Organizational Behavior and micro-organizational issues) from an AACSB-International accredited institution or major internationally recognized university.
If the applicant has a Master’s degree and is not ABD or Ph.D., the applicant must have relevant work experience that demonstrates active involvement in Management since the time of the Master’s degree completion.
