Reporting to the Associate Director for Information systems, the Assistant Director will work with the Enrollment Management team assisting with the creation and maintenance of reports, data entry, data loading, management of technical systems and operational processes in one of the offices of Enrollment Management. Responsibilities involve coordinating a daily and weekly schedule of reports and processes utilizing the Student Information System, third party systems, and from Customer Relationship Management systems using Microsoft Access and Excel; monitoring the consistency, quality, and integrity of data within a large integrated database as well as longitudinal tables; analyzing, validating and summarizing data in preparation for generation of statistical and analytical reports, and interpreting research data as appropriate; ad hoc reporting; execution of the operational process for admissions applicants including generating print communications and managing communication flow timelines; performing quality controls to ensure communications and data are accurate; This person will provide technical support for current applications and processes, retention management, and other duties as assigned. This position may participate in interdepartmental meetings, committees, and taskforces. Interacts with all levels of faculty, staff, and administration campus wide.
Candidates must be able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Conference, and the NCAA.
This is a full-time on-campus position.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, plus some nights and weekends. Evening and weekend hours and travel required.
