The Mazumdar Lab is devoted to applying high research standards to pediatric neurology as it relates to environmental exposures. We are currently looking for a research data manager to join our team. The Data Manager I will be responsible for: * Directing data flow for studies supported by the Neuroepidemiology Unit in the Department of Neurology * Collaborating with Project Directors and Principal Investigators on the design, development, implementation, and validation of databases * Establishing policies and procedures for data management * Developing and maintaining data record filing system * Providing project management and data management support to study staff, including senior data managers. * Providing data entry, data review, data cleaning and quality control checks.
To qualify, you must have:
Work requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably in health science, mathematics or related field and a minimum of two or more years of data collection, entry and coordinator experience.
The analytical skills to handle clinical research data in an organized, accurate and timely manner.
Strong working knowledge and experience with data management and statistical software (e.g. SAS, SPSS, relational data management, web based EDC, REDCap).
Previous work with SAS is preferred. -Critical attention to detail and accuracy.
