The area of expertise for this position is data science and analytics, with a focus on one or more of the following topics: security analytics, applied AI, data mining, and cyber-physical systems. The duties and responsibilities include research and teaching in areas of strength in the Department of Software and Information Systems (SIS) in the College of Computing and Informatics (CCI): cybersecurity, human centered design, intelligent systems and analytics, and health informatics.
Minimum Experience / Education:
UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated ability to contribute to diversity initiatives, demonstrated achievement in original research and scholarship, and demonstrated commitment to quality teaching with prior experience at the undergraduate and graduate level.
