The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at St. Ambrose University invites applications for a full-time, renewable, one-year, visiting assistant professor position in Sociology, beginning in August 2021. Primary teaching responsibilities include undergraduate courses in Introduction to Sociology, Race and Ethnicity, and. Sex and Gender. The preferred minimum qualifications include the successful completion of a Ph.D. in Sociology or other relevant disciplines. ABD candidates will be considered. Priority will be given to applicants showing evidence of excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level in both face-to-face and on-line delivery formats.
