To provide professional service in the area of intensive psychological testing for the determination of a diagnosis of ADHD and Learning Disorders for students seeking on campus psychiatric services and academic accommodations.
Conduct clinical interviews, administer, score, and interpret psychological assessment instruments. Write and produce comprehensive psychological evaluation reports that include relevant client history, presentation of test data, DSM diagnoses, summary and recommendations. Participate in staff developments and case management meetings and consult and collaborate with other providers at Counseling and Psychological Services. Assist with campus educational and or screening programs related to mental health topics. Achieve proficiency with new psychological assessment instruments, attending continuing education classes, assists with research and with developing expanding assessment related programs and services.
Master’s or doctoral degree in clinical psychology or a related area of psychology from a fully accredited educational program. Licensure in the State of Texas as a licensed Psychological Associate. Minimum of one (1) year of post-licensure experience with psychological evaluation of adolescents and adults.
Three (3) or more years of such experience. Work is performed under usual clinical conditions and requires a high degree of contact with patients/clients, other clinical personnel, and campus community.
