Fairleigh Dickinson University, Department of Occupational Therapy, seeks applications for a Doctoral Capstone Coordinator (DCC) position for the entry-level Occupational Therapy Doctoral (OTD) Program. This is a full-time, 12 month, tenure-line faculty position. A significant role is to manage, coordinate, and safeguard scholarly integrity and scientific quality of capstone projects as delineated by Accreditation Council of Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) standards. The DCC is also responsible for teaching in the entry-level OTD program. The DCC will work collaboratively with the OTD Program Director, Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, and faculty members to advance the program’s mission.
Education and Experience:
Earned a clinical or post-professional doctorate in Occupational Therapy or related field (Ph.D., OTD, DHA, DHSc, EdD, ScD) from an institution that is accredited by a USDE-recognized regional accrediting body.
Current NBCOT Certification
Minimum of 2 -3 years of post-licensure clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
Previous experience in a scholarly academic role in an Occupational Therapy program desired.
