The Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, Rutgers University invites applications for full-time teaching positions in health management/administration, to commence September 1, 2021. The School offers an undergraduate Health Administration major leading to a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree and launched its Master of Health Administration (MHA) program in January 2017. Open positions are non-tenure track multi-year teaching appointments. Applicants should have both instructional and health administration experience. Responsibilities: Successful applicants will staff both undergraduate and graduate level courses in more than one content area, including Operations, IT, Health Economics, Finance and Financial Management, Human Resources, Marketing, and more. Courses will be offered in a range of modalities beyond traditional settings, including hybrid and online formats. Expectations of teaching faculty include:
Commitment to excellence in teaching and student advisement.
Participation in current research in a health administration field and/or a record of exemplar practitioner experience and certifications (e.g., FACHE).
Involvement in curricular design and course development.
Service to the University/School/Department and/or the Health Administration profession
Minimum Education and Experience:
Qualifications & Special Instructions to Applicants: A Ph.D. is preferred, however other terminal degrees in Health Management/Administration or a related field from an accredited institution will be considered. A proven record of successful leadership in a health administration profession is considered an asset. Only applicants who have valid authorization to work in the United States will be reviewed.

A strong record of excellence in teaching, preferably in both online and classroom environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A record of success in advising and mentoring students, and in participating in departmental and/or university committees.
An ability to maintain active practical engagement in their discipline or a research agenda allowing them to remain current and relevant in their field.
