Marist College invites applications for the position of Application Administrator in the IT Department. The Application Administrator will lead the ongoing development, support and integration of our Salesforce products and other ancillary systems, including the student health EMR (Medicat). The Application Administrator will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our Salesforce products as well as all other College ancillary systems.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and/or six years’ experience in the information technology field. Ideal candidate should have a proven record of success in improving processes using the Salesforce.com platform and other ancillary systems.
Ability to work in rapidly changing technological and team-oriented environment is essential. Excellent customer service and communication skills a must.
Serve as primary system administrator for all third-party application environments
Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
Working collaboratively with ERP programmers, manage data feeds and other integrations
Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
Work with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
Assist in training of new users
Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements
Report regularly to senior management on Key Performance Indicators and strategic progress
Perform other related duties as assigned
Experience in higher education strongly preferred.
