The person in this position will coordinate and support the F.A.T.E. Center peer mentoring program for currently enrolled foster/adopted youth at A&M-San Antonio. The Assistant Coordinator will oversee a team of undergraduate peer mentors and will assist the Coordinator of the Foster Support Services Center.
The goal of the F.A.T.E. peer mentoring program is to provide peer-to-peer support for new and enrolled former foster and adopted youth who have transitioned to A&M-San Antonio, to provide guidance on academic resources and support services, and explore the world of work by offering direct peer career mentoring and guidance.
