This is a full time position.Continuation of this position is dependent upon continued funding
and satisfactory work performance.
The Extension Program Assistant III is responsible to the County Extension Director. This position will support county work to:
Work cooperatively with all county Extension staff for the implementation and teaching of the program with curriculum development and training activities.
Conduct and teach programs individually and in group settings.
Assist Extension agents in planning monthly programs and provide leadership to County clientele.
Classroom decisions pertaining to minor student disciplinary action and monthly program development.
Assist with program member enrollment and reports, as well as prepare monthly program materials.
Provides information/documentation for evaluation of impact regarding programs represented by Extension.
Assists staff in providing information to the public regarding specific questions or problems pertaining to their situation.
Recruits for future program participants.
Other appropriate duties related to Agricultural & Natural Resources and 4-H Youth Development programming as needed.
Be responsible for 40 hours of work a week.
