We are looking for one postdoc who is interested in working on a project funded by the National Science Foundation and Toyota Research Institute. The project focuses on developing a system and algorithm to reconstruct human and animal geometry in 3D from multiview image streams. She or he will have an opportunity to work on interdisciplinary study including collaboration with neuroscience (http://openmonkeystudio.com/)
(33%) Conduct research and development on computer vision and deep learning. (33%) Participate in designing a new markerless motion capture system for humans and animals. (33%) Contribute to academic publication and research demonstration
Required Qualifications: PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field Strong familiarity with computer vision and machine learning Familiarity with 3D geometry in computer vision Experience in open-source deep learning packages such as TensorFlow or Pytorch Strong publication record in computer vision, e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV.
Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience in handling sensor data (camera) preferred Strong written and oral communication skills
