The Machines in Motion Laboratory (https://wp.nyu.edu/machinesinmotion/) at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a Post Doctoral Researcher/Post Doctoral Associate to join an exciting project on the control of walking robots over wireless networks. Candidates will be responsible for conducting scholarly research, writing papers and help mentor students and perform work in a multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will be driven, creative and team-oriented with a passion for developing novel algorithms for the control of robotic movements. We are seeking individuals with a strong background in robotics, optimization and/or optimal control. We welcome applicants from recent PhDs and individuals seeking additional postdoctoral training. Eligible candidates will be required to present eligibility to work in the United States.
