Essential Functions: The Department of Neurology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine is seeking applicants for a faculty position on the Clinician-Educator Track. The Department has a strong tradition of clinical excellence and research and is housed at the Detroit Medical Center, the largest hospital system in Detroit Metro. The new faculty will: Participate in neurology inpatient and outpatient services. Participate in research opportunities and clinical trials. Participate in educational programs of the Department of Neurology for medical students, residents and fellows. Participate in conferences and seminars of the Department of Neurology.
Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. degree required from an accredited medical school.Valid Michigan medical license.Completion of residency in Neurology.Completion of fellowship in sub-specialty area of Neurology.Board certified/board eligible in Neurology.Rank commensurate with credentials.
