Plays a vital role in enriching the community by participating in community service organizations and/or credit union sponsored events, on an annual basis.

Ensures compliance with all State and Federal legal regulations concerning employment and payroll. Responsible for the proper, accurate and timely completion of regulatory reporting associated with required regulations.
Recommends policies and procedures to Executive VP/Human Resources and Human Resource Manager to ensure that all GreenState operates within the legal framework of government legislation.
Maintains the upkeep of GreenStates HRIS; compiles reports from database as needed.
Maintains confidential personnel records.
Reports monthly payroll and staffing statistical information.
Manages workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
Creates and maintains electronic time sheets in order to interface with payroll.
Performs all activities necessary to process one or more payrolls, including maintaining payroll records, processing involuntary deductions such as 401(k) elections, state and federal tax records, preparing accounting documents, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing special payroll reports for all levels of management.
Reconciles payroll prior to transmission and validates confirmed reports.
Updates and reconciles monthly bank statements.
Oversees salary administration procedures, including ongoing maintenance of GreenState job descriptions, incentive controls, and salary ranges.
Maintains and updates compensation budget tracking for the entire organization.
Coaching and Training
Engages in positive partnership and staffing relations by providing coaching, training and guidance on GreenState policies and procedures, best practices, compliance, etc.
Develops and/or delivers Human Resources and payroll training to new and existing staff, as needed.
Assists in the coordination and administration of various Credit Union educational programs.
Assists in the coordination of staff meetings, training topics, and special events.
Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals, as needed. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department.
Researches and works with third party vendors to develop new programs and/or human resource and payroll processes.
Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field; or equivalent coursework.
Minimum three years of Human Resource experience in a generalist role with extensive experience in Payroll processing.
Knowledge of state and federal payroll and employment laws, regulations, and statues.
Reports to work punctually, works all scheduled hours, and works overtime as necessitated by business demand.
Proficiency in a wide variety of personal computer software programs, including the Microsoft Office application suite.
A strong working knowledge of local area network directories, protocol, and general maintenance procedures.
High scanning accuracy with extreme attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to coordinate and prioritize large, detailed project requirements and schedules.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a time sensitive environment.
Self directed nature, ability to work independent of supervision, and ability to follow directions.
Ability to work well with others in a demanding work schedule.
Ability to research, develop and create new programs.
Maturity and discretion to handle confidential information.
Must be bondable.
Reports to the Human Resource Manager.
This position is not responsible for the supervision of other employees.
