The Technical Director is supervisor position who is responsible for overseeing the technical operation of the theatre, planning, executing, and setting up the scenery construction of the Theatre and Dance Main Stage production, as well as the maintenance of the scene shop and storage at PCAC. The position supervises and safeguard the stage construction and the THDA 459 Stagecraft Labs. Position will also oversee scheduling of the theatres and offer technical support to our summer youth camps as well as spring and summer dept touring productions.
Thorough knowledge of the technical theater, minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Director in the field. Scenery construction, rigging, computer aid drafting, organization and problem solving skills are required. Experience in theatre operation and basic understanding in the related technical theatre areas.
