Supervise agricultural research technicians. Perform and provide oversight of crop production systems. Coordinate and allocate resources to achieve all activities associated with crop production including, but not limited to, tillage, planting, chemical applications, irrigation and harvesting operations. Perform and provide oversight of routine to advanced equipment maintenance and repair. Acquisition of equipment, equipment parts, and crop production inputs. Participates in and provides insight toward long range plans of the research facility.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
High school diploma plus five years of crop production experience; equivalent education/experience considered. Agronomic knowledge of the requirements for the successful establishment, maintenance and harvest of farm crops. Supervisory and organizational skills. Ability to operate, setup and maintain equipment associated with the production of crops.
Bachelor’s degree in crop production or related field of study. Knowledge, skills, and abilities to operate and maintain precision agricultural equipment used for mapping of fields and the variable rate application of cropping inputs. Ability to use Microsoft Office software (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook). Pesticide application license.
Posted Salary: $17.60/hr minimum
