Department Name: H3270:Nursing Practice and Support Services
The Response Team Spotter works one-on-one with Registered Nurses and Nursing Care Technicians to complete delegated tasks including monitoring staff and visitors as they enter and exit patient rooms, as well as while they are inside the patient's room, ensuring proper donning and doffing of PPE. The Response Team spotter may also be asked to obtain specific supplies, as well as notify other health care providers if assistance is needed inside a patient's room. The primary responsibilities of this position consist of providing prompt, compassionate, and patient-centered care in a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, honest, trustworthy, and have a strong work ethic. Must enjoy working in a team and also be able to take direction and communicate effectively with staff, patients and their family members. In addition, must also be confident and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Candidate will also need strong organizational, prioritization, basic computer navigation skills, and working knowledge of the Internet.
