Title: Digital Communications & CRM Specialist
Unit: Full-Time Non-Unit Professional

Reports To: Assistant Dean of Admissions
Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Admissions, the Digital Communications and CRM Specialist will develop, execute and maintain a comprehensive digital recruitment plan for prospective and new diverse student populations. Working closely with the Marketing Communications department, will utilize best practices in digital communications to create clear, accurate, and accessible content within the CRM and on the Admissions webpages. Responsible for maintaining our current Admissions technologies (including but not limited to Target X CRM, Argos Reporting, Banner SIS Admissions and Recruitment modules, OU Campus, Softdocs Etrieve Document Imaging and SARS Grid) and will develop plans to streamline the use of technology throughout our recruiting and admissions practices.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assists with the planning and execution of a comprehensive digital recruitment and communication plan
Creates and executes email and/or texting communication campaigns utilizing the CRM tool to all prospect and applicant types
Manages and maintains Admissions website content and design using OU Campus web editor or similar system
Ensures digital content is ADA and WCAG compliant.
Regularly communicates and coordinates with Marketing communications
Manages the prospective student events modules in the CRM
Act as implementation lead on any future Admissions technology projects
Train and assist Admissions staff with individual digital communication plans for their assigned territories and populations
Create, execute, and maintain CRM reporting dashboards
Responsible for the integrity of Admissions data entered into the CRM and Banner SIS for state level (DHE) reporting.
Assists the Assistant Dean of Admissions with designing technical procedures that support and streamline our Admissions policies.
Work with the user community to identify and address system needs in a timely and efficient manner, implement and document respective changes, and/or refer change requests to the responsible party
Engage in the planning and testing of technology applications to ensure appropriate data sharing occurs in support of approved business practices
In coordination with Institutional Research, create and analyze Admissions reports, determining areas for improvement or streamlined processes.
Develop training manuals and training for staff for both new and existing processes.
Liaise with the MCC Information Technology Division and Marketing Communications and participate in cross-functional working groups and committees
Work with the CRM systems admin to regularly access and review the CRM and Banner SIS documentation to effectively research software upgrades and options for improved business practices.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs special projects and related responsibilities as requested for other Enrollment offices.
Assist with phone, email and in person student outreach during peak enrollment periods.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Normal office environment, not subject to extreme variations of temperature, noise, odors, etc. May use computer keyboards requiring eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity. May involve attendance at evening meetings. More than half of time spent in normal office setting.

Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing Communications or related field with heavy technology experience.
At least 2 years of professional experience using a student information system and/or a CRM system, including implementation and testing of new systems and system updates.
Experience with reporting database applications such as Argos and Tableau
Experience working in higher education, as well as knowledge of the admissions and college recruitment process and knowledge and understanding of the terminology involved in admissions recruitment/yield campaign management.
Previous experience flowcharting and organizing recruitment projects or e-campaigns.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong commitment to customer service.
Ability to work consistently with highly detailed assignments, independently and with strict deadlines.
Ability to understand, explain and apply the policies and procedures of the department within a professional office setting.
Ability to understand workflows and process documentation of how roles are performed.
Ability to prepare written reports, correspondence and recommendations.

Previous experience with Banner SIS
Previous experience with Target X CRM and/or Salesforce applications
Previous experience in Admissions, recruitment or a marketing
Data mining, data analysis, and data manipulation skills.
Experience making digital content ADA and WCAG compliant
This is a full-time non-unit professional (NUP) position under the Non-Unit Personnel Policies Handbook.
Salary Range: $48,800 to $73,200 based on experience, Grade: 6
Location: Lowell and Bedford campuses plus travel to off campus sites. During COVID restrictions, this position will primarily be both remote, and in person at the Lowell and Bedford campus as necessary.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday with occasional extended hours and/or weekends
