The purpose of this position is to manage the software system and provide support to of all registered student organizations. There are about 250 of these at NKU.
Primary Responsibilities :
This position will oversee all 250 registered student organizations. This person will also oversee major campus events, including Victorfest and Homecoming. The position will also coordinate all university service programming.
At least 3 years of higher education experience in programming and advising student organizations.
Must have a willingness to make decisions and exhibit sound and accurate judgement.
Strong mentoring and coaching skills and an ability to foster teamwork.
Must be able to prepare and present special projects with little or no supervision or oversight.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Must have effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products as well as social media platforms.
Experience with student organization management platforms to promote service events and track individual student's service hours.
Displays an ability to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to changing situations. Can work with events involving multiple parties and ability to deal with frequent change.
