Description of Work:
Coordinate data collection while field sampling, analyze data, and develop new collection techniques to collect Asian carp for future work supporting conservation and management planning. Prepare reports and manuscripts based on analyses. Supervise undergraduate assistants.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in fisheries or related field plus two years of related experience to include fish sampling in large rivers as well as writing reports and publications. Experience with electrofishing and netting. Experience with environmental DNA sample collection and processing. Data collection, analysis, and report writing skills. Evidence of ability to complete project reports and/or publish in peer-reviewed journals. Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Experience supervising field crews. Proven experience properly identifying fish. Experience with standardized sampling protocols. Experience working with resource management agencies. Knowledge and ability to identify Great Plains fishes.
Posted Salary: $40,000/yr. minimum
