Job Description:
The Department of Economics at St. Cloud State University, invites applications from candidates who merit appointment at the Assistant Professor level, beginning August 2021, to teach in the Economics program. Instruction will occur on the St. Cloud State University main campus, and online. Teaching responsibilities may include Principles of Macroeconomics (ECON 205); Economic and Business Forecasting (ECON 470); Macroeconomic Theory (ECON 605); and Advanced Economic and Business Forecasting (ECON 670).
Required Qualifications:
ABD /PHD in Economics
Fields in Macroeconomic Theory and Time Series Analysis
Demonstrated experience or ability in teaching Macroeconomic Theory and Economic and Business Forecasting
The potential for a distinguished record of teaching, research, community engagement, and consultation;
Ability to communicate well with college students matching SCSU's demographics and to advise them in the program and department's degree programs;
Evidence of demonstrated ability to teach and work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current research related to Macroeconomics and/or Time-series Analysis.
