The Department of Radiology and the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. Responsibilities include performing interventional procedures, participating in outpatient clinics, consulting with referring clinicians, educating and mentoring trainees, and contributing to divisional and institutional research efforts. In addition to contributing to the academic, clinical, research and advocacy missions, this role will also serve as the Division Head of Interventional Radiology. Reporting to the Department Chair of Medical Imaging at Lurie Children’s, the Interventional Radiology (IR) Division Head is responsible for the clinical leadership, organization and operation of the IR Division.The Division Head is expected to establish the vision and strategic plan for the Division, participate in departmental budgeting as it relates to IR, and has a personal reputation for excellence in clinical care, teaching, mentoring, and scholarship.
Qualified candidates must have completed Interventional Radiology fellowship training (pediatric and/or adult), and maintain, or be eligible for, ABR subspecialty certification. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in Pediatric Interventional Radiology and academic interest. This position is full-time employed through Lurie Children’s.

The Department of Medical Imaging at Lurie Children’s is home to 28 radiologists who provide the complete spectrum of diagnostic and interventional pediatric imaging care.
