Perform specific technical ophthalmologic diagnostic procedures and tests under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or the attending ophthalmologist. Tests include visual acuity, fundus photography, OCT scans, visual field testing,slit lamp photography, ultrasound and UBM scans
You will also carry out additional activities necessary to provide for the personal needs, comfort and safety of patients and their families
Maintain a clean, safe, and functional environment and orient patients and families to the clinical area
High School Diploma or equivalent education
Minimum of 1 fullyear of recent experience with ophthalmic proceduresand ability to perform basic math functions required
COA (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant) preferred
Excellent communication and Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Hours: Vary Flexed between 6:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (Monday Friday)
