Harborview Medical Center’s (HMC) COVID Response/Respiratory Plus Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a 60% (24 hours per week), Day shift, (Monday thru Friday, could include occasional weekends- if needed occasionally to assist at testing sites on the weekend), Registered Nurse (RN2).
Harborview’s COVID Response/Respiratory Plus Clinic RN will perform general clinic duties (such as primary care), including some COVID testing. May include Pediatric care as well as Adults. The RN will assume charge RN responsibilities, when assigned.bThe RN will be assigned to Respiratory PLUS, but as that work diminishes, could then move to assist with vaccinations. The RN may also help with testing.
SCHEDULE Position is 60% (24 hours per week), day shift, Monday thru Friday (and/or if needed occasionally scheduled weekend to assist at testing sites)
LOCATION - Harborview Medical Center Campus - Seattle, First Hill (additional sites possible: COVID testing sites, vaccination sites) The RN will be assigned to COVID Response/Respiratory PLUS, but as that work diminishes, could then move the to help with vaccinations. They may also help with testing at testing sites.
REQUIREMENTS If assigned to testing site: Ability to: • Comfortably work with potentially COVID positive patients • Perform nasal pharyngeal/other specified swabs on adults and children • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the day • Work outside regardless of weather • Work weekends and/or early morning shifts (6AM start) • Float between testing sites to meet staffing demands
