This position is in the Center for Clinical Studies. This position is for the Medical School Campus.
Provides clerical support for the Center for the Clinical Studies (CCS) and is responsible for supporting the CCS teams in all matters related to initiation of CCS services, including the intake and triage of required documentation, electronic tracking and record keeping, and customer contact when needed.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides administrative support to the CCS team, including intake and database tracking of studies, requesting information from departments and sponsors, signature routing, filing, scanning, etc.
Provides initial in-take functions for new protocols, triages applications and enters information into databases.
Streamlines processes to make the in-take process as seamless & efficient as possible
Maintains active, inactive and other department files.
Provides ready inventory of forms, brochures, scheduling report, etc.
Obtains and copies documents as requested.
Assists with computer entry.
Distributes regulatory documents to study team.
Organizes regulatory documents and binders.
Provides assistance in the day-to-day administration of the department.
Provides staff support during vacation/illnesses.
Acts as a back-up receptionist and distributes mail.
Assists with photo-copying, faxing, printing and scanning.
High school diploma or equivalent high school certification.
Three years of related secretarial experience.
Two years of college or business school.
One year of related medical experience.
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Effective organizational abilities.
Working knowledge of varied word processing and PC-based systems and other standard office equipment.
Familiarity with financial systems.
Ability to walk long distances and lift packages up to 50 lbs.
The hiring range for this position is $16.31 - $20.39 per hour.
