The Assistant Director of Community Engagement is responsible for leading democratic and community engagement efforts and initiatives through Student Leadership, Involvement, and Community Engagement.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree plus two (2) years of experience organizing democratic and community engagement activities. Must have demonstrated leadership skills with knowledge of how to plan and organize student events. Must have evidence of ability to collaborate with key stakeholders in achieving organizational or community goals. Must have demonstrated experience working with diverse partners. Must have strong organizational skills involving the ability to manage multiple projects. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Masters degree preferred. Experience with university and community collaborations within a higher education setting helpful. Experience working with diverse community groups on social justice issues preferred. Experience facilitating voter registration and engagement activities desirable. Experience leading community engagement events that partner community-based organizations and students helpful.
Posted Salary: $45,000 minimum
