The Department of Facilities Management Administration is seeking applications for the Facilities Accounting Coordinator. This position:
Performs a variety of standard to moderately difficult routine and non-routine technical/clerical support duties that may require knowledge of assigned and/or related work units; applies this specialized knowledge to analyze and respond to administrative matters within established limits.
Performs complex accounting and auditing tasks, reconciliation and related accounting functions in support of the department.
Generate and maintain all department purchase orders through the ETSU eBucs system while ensuring of standard practices such as proper signing authorities and purchasing and data standards.
Collaborate with ETSU's Procurement and Contract Services to ensure compliance with the university and State of TN policies and procedures regarding the purchasing of materials, equipment and/or services.
Verification and input of receipt of materials, equipment/services to forward to ETSU's Accounts Payable to process invoices through eBucs system or directly through Banner with appropriate Index and Account number.
Contacts outside vendors on matters regarding issues related to accounts payable transactions of delivery discrepancies.
Prepares recurring and special reports, tabulations or budgets unique to assigned function.
Other related duties as assigned.
Overtime will be required as necessary. Facilities employees may be required to report at their regularly scheduled times during emergency closures or during inclement weather to perform essential functions.
