The S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Television, Radio & Film (TRF) department to start Fall 2021.
The successful candidate will focus primarily on teaching television writing courses and therefore must have significant professional experience and be recognized nationally and/or internationally for his/her narrative work.
The successful candidate will need to show potential for conducting academic scholarship or industry-related creative activity that will position the hire as a recognized expert in the field. Participation in service and committee work for the department, the Newhouse School, and Syracuse University is expected.
