The Division of Gynecology, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan is seeking a board certified or board eligible MD to join the Division for a full time clinical faculty position. The position will be at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor on the clinical track pending candidate qualifications. Candidates will be expected to devote their professional effort to conduct patient care including outpatient clinic visits and surgical procedures (office, outpatient, and inpatient) and to participate in the on-call system. Additional responsibilities include the teaching of medical students, fellows, and resident physicians. Participation in clinical and/or translational research is encouraged, and the department and medical school provide a strong infrastructure for pursuing research activities.
Responsibilities involve patient care primarily and include teaching of house officers and medical students and participation in the educational programs at the University of Michigan Medical School. Responsibilites also include performing clinical research.
M.D., Board certified or active candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Hold or have the ability to obtain appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. Evidence of clinical competence and evidence of competence in clinical and/or didactic teaching is expected.
This position is posted as Clinical Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor /Clinical Professor. The rank of the selected candidate will depend upon candidate's qualifications.
